Kotor Old town is a marvellously preserved medieval city in Montenegro and UNESCO World Heritage site. The fortified city is located in the heart of Kotor Bay, nestled between sparkling waters and rugged mountains. One of the few Mediterranean towns that remain fortified, Kotor’s walls stretch 4.5 km long and rise from the shore to the San Giovanni fortress atop St. John’s hill.

A local and licensed tour guide will lead you or your private group into the Old Town through the most central of three historic gates. From there, you will they will escort you through the Old Town, introducing you to Kotor’s history and heritage along the way.

This tour covers all of the major architectural and historic landmarks in Kotor in a more detailed and personalized way. Sites include the Square of Arms, Clock Tow-er, and Old Town Hall. You will also visit the town’s many palaces, designed in or-nate Renaissance and Baroque styles, and an array of Orthodox and Christian churches.
